My name is Eileen McMorrow and I have created a law firm with a difference, based in the heart of York. As a result I feel it is essential that YorSolicitor embraces social media and so I have created a blog that can be used as an online resource for those interested in the services I offer. I would therefore like to welcome you – I hope you enjoy your first visit!
I mentioned that YorSolicitor was a law firm with a difference and I would like to explore that point before I continue.
As the sole proprietor of the firm, I believe in working closely with my clients to discuss and discover their legal and commercial needs. When your business then has the need for a contract or any form of legal help, YorSolicitor has the ability to work with you on a basis of knowledge and understanding. Any contracts will be specifically drafted to work practically and commercially within your particular business. As a qualified solicitor, I also have a Ph.D. in plant biochemistry, a post-graduate qualification in intellectual property law and recently I have become a CEDR accredited mediator.
Regularly networking nationally and internationally, I cover all aspects of commercial law, intellectual property and IT law. I have advised a range of diverse companies, from IT companies to heavy industry and I am now driving my business forward to encompass the needs of the creative sector.
